After a week of feeling 'flaky' and emotional, I managed to complete the run yesterday. The venue was lovely, the weather ideal - and I somehow managed to find that something extra, completing the distance in 43 minutes. I am very happy with the outcome and know that the sponsorship I have been promised will make a positive difference to British Lung Foundation research. I'm sure that Les was smiling and cheering me on every step of the way. Libby was fantastic and stayed with me the whole run, encouraging and supporting me. We were both very happy with our time. I am feeling just great today.
