Well, I am thoroughly tired out after all the busy, busy time spent making christmas table centres, preserves, knitted goods, gift boxes and baking preparing for another fundraising coffee morning yesterday. However, it was all so very worthwhile as the end of day total was £215 - and is now £260. I know that any amount will be so important in funding further research into lung diseases - though my personal main focus would be research into pulmonary fibrosis. I count myself very fortunate to have such loyal family, friends and aquaintances to help and support me on the day. And what a lovely surprise to have Andrew and Dorothy turn up on my doorstep at 10am, all the way down from Liverpool, to help out on the day too. Hollie was here again - she hasn't missed one of these fundraisers, bless her. And of course Marlene was here again too - a real friend. Les, I know you would approve my darling. A very restful week now - necessary to recharge the batteries before turning my thoughts to getting ready for Christmas.
